The Downtown Truro Partnership (DTP) runs a variety of year-round programs designed to strengthen and support our Downtown business community. From marketing campaigns that highlight local shops and services, to professional development opportunities, networking events, and community-wide activations, our programs are tailored to help businesses grow and thrive. We work closely with our members to create initiatives that drive traffic downtown, foster collaboration, and showcase the unique character of our district. By providing consistent support and innovative programming throughout the year, DTP ensures our business community has the tools and opportunities it needs to succeed.
Grant Programs
Downtown Truro offers grant programs to support local businesses in enhancing their storefronts and contributing to the overall appeal of the district. The Façade and Signage Improvement Program provides funding to help commercial property owners and tenants upgrade building exteriors, signage, and façades—encouraging investment and strengthening downtown’s economic vitality. The Streetscape Beautification Program offers financial support for seasonal décor, greenery, flower boxes, and other improvements that enhance curb appeal and create a welcoming atmosphere. Both programs are delivered in partnership with the Town of Truro, ensuring collaborative investment in the long-term vibrancy of Downtown.
