Master Plan ~ Inglis Street Revitalization |
The Downtown Truro Partnership has been working diligently with the Town of Truro to implement Phase 1, the ‘Inglis Street Revitalization’ of the Master Plan. A Tender Call was issued in late summer of 2006 for design work and Ekistics Planning & Design was the successful bidder. Ekistics expects to have the design work completed early in the New Year and once approved, Tender Calls for the construction work will be initiated. A community meeting will be announced and take place during the design phase and we encourage all Downtown Merchants to attend that meeting to offer their comments on the work in progress. Construction is expected to take place during June, July and early August of 2007.
Stay tuned for more information! |
